Meet Goofy!  Goofy is a 4 year old red and rust Doberman Pinscher with a docked tail and natural ears. He is a tall and lanky boy, and as you can see, he is obviously quite handsome.  He loves to dober-lean and will stand there looking at you with big adorable eyes, waiting for you to give him pets and cuddles; he will soak up all the love and attention, and will give you plenty of love back.

He is high energy, and is suitable for someone who is very active and does a lot of biking, running, or hiking.

He is very people-friendly and is dog-friendly.  He can be selective with certain male dogs, but that is to be expected with all dogs.

Goofy is also children-friendly, but we will only adopt to households with children ages 8+, due to Goofy’s large size.

Goofy has had 3 weeks of board-and-train with a professional trainer.  To not let his training go to waste, we do require that Goofy’s adopter complete 2 hours of one-on-one training with Goofy under direction of a balance-based trainer after adoption to improve handler skills.  He is big and very very strong, but also manageable with the right skills, so handler skills to maximize his training benefits is required.
