Ruth is a beautiful 8 month old female Doberman who was found running around as a stray.  She was reported to be running around in the middle of a busy road, and was being chased into traffic by some evil kids on bicycles.  Animal control was called and showed up, but was unable to catch her.  Representatives from our rescue showed up and was finally able to catch her.  We contacted the shelter per jurisdiction requirement, and also posted her on social media and lost dog websites, but no one came forward to claim her.

One of her paw was shredded and horribly injured as a result of running around; our vet cautioned that she would need surgery to fix the injury.  After an emergency vet visit and some more vet bills, Ruth is now good as new!
