Sunshine is a 65 lb fawn dobergirl rescued from a high-kill shelter in Southern California.  She was picked up as a stray, adopted from the shelter and returned just a few days later for “chewing things up.”  Before she was adopted and returned, she was a happy sweet friendly girl.  After she was returned, she appeared shut-down and sad in her shelter kennel, and would not approach any visitors.  We could not leave the sweet girl at that horrible place, so we brought her to our rescue.

This little fawn girl captured the hearts of our founder and of many others with her adorable piggy-snoot and her big golden eyes.  She caught the eye of a particular dobermom, and was adopted.  She has been living her BEST life since.  Her mom worked hard training her, and Sunshine went from a scared nervous girl to a friendly and confident doberpup.  They go on SOOO many adventures together.  Beach days, camping, hiking – you name it!  She is in her PERFECT furever home.
